Man, that's just too peaceful. I seem to remember a constant swirl of multi-colored fur, pushing and shoving, until Ma got disgusted and stalked off to hide under the chair while her half-blind brood wandered aimlessly until the found some unshod toes. Now that I think of it, looks like Ma is getting that very same look... Watch your feet.

just like with humans, there are good momma kitties and then there are not so good momma kitties, i have seen both! we had one momma who would bring her babe's to my little sister - who was only 4 - as if she was sposed to be able to do anything motherly! we even had a male pomeranium who would evr so gently swipe newborn kitties and haul them off to his own little nest as if he was gonna be able to be a mommy!!! life, animals, AND people <--- all funny sometimes! have a good day at work!
